Photo by Gary Campbell Photography Star (named after Windi's Grandmother Morningstar) is another Lacy’s dog bred by Janet Rahn of Doggie Doos. She is a tri colored medium rough coated black faced bitch measuring at 18 ¾” , born May 31, 2004 and dual registered with both ABCA and AKC. Star has a lovely personality, very steady yet playful and silly, loves kids, great with puppies and enjoys splashing in the water. But get her near the agility equipment and she is all BUSINESS! She has lots of drive, a hard work ethic, pretty to watch and very graceful. Star looks mostly black and white but has some tan on her legs with a little freckling. Her mother and father have strong herding backgrounds competing in USBCHA events. Star herself herds with gentleness and does not upset her sheep, powering down and treating them with kindness. She gets her “smile”, which can look a little demented with her black wolfy face, from her mother. She has her Canine Good Citizen’s and is titled in agility and herding. Her hips have been OFA’d Excellent, Elbows are Normal, BAER tested as a puppy normal and Optigen tested as CEA clear and will never produce any pups with this disease.
