This ball of fire is known as Fig, lovingly called the Figster or Figarella.  Her name comes from the wonderful Fig Tree that my Grandmother Morningstar had in her yard when we were kids (she'd cut limbs out that my cousins and I would ride as horses).  Fig is a smooth coated black and white bitch, 19 ¼” born February 22, 2005 and dual registered with both ABCA and AKC.  She does not know the meaning of quit or getting her feelings hurt - she is a very tough little girl.  But she does have a sweet personality, not typically a submissive type but does submit to our cats which we find amusing.  She is always ready to play, work, do something, but has an off switch when inside, great with kids and loves to swim.  Fig started her career in flyball (which gave her the loud mouth) and that carried to agility, herding and dock diving.  She has her Canine Good Citizen’s and has titled in all of the above sports.  Fig’s hips are OFA’d Good, Elbows normal, BAER tested as a puppy normal and Optigen tested CEA clear with no chance of producing pups with it.  Her mother is a wonderful working herding dog with the sweetest temperament and dad is a top winning Dock Diving and Disc Dog.  She gets that tail honestly by dad!  Fig is a dream dog to compete with, fearless and fun!  Our plans are to possibly breed Fig within the two years.  See Puppies page for more details.  Pedigree, OFA, Optigen certificates, etc. available upon request.
